Why Independent?

Many of us are frustrated with the big political parties—they’re not working for us. But this is a local election about local issues, so I encourage you to vote for the person, not the party.

Westminster already knows people are dissatisfied—a protest vote won’t change that. Instead, this is a chance to elect someone who will truly fight for our community.

When I retired, I had no intention of getting into politics—but my police instinct to challenge what’s wrong led me here. I became frustrated seeing elected representatives put party agendas ahead of the people they should be serving.

Instead of just complaining, I decided to do something about it.

The party system is failing usfalse promises, repeated letdowns, and decisions made for party gain, not public good.

I am different. I have no party orders to followmy only priority is you.

Let’s make real change happen, together.
